Rakhi Sawant’s new publicity stunt

She is the quintessential queen of the tabloids — Rakhi Sawant, ‘super girl’ and Bigg Boss contestant. The item girl actress, stooping to conquer and stopping at nothing, she now dons a new role — Rakhi is the new animal lover on the block.

Endorsing the animal rights group People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), Sawant says her message is simple: “I will do my best to make sure that animals are saved in this country. We should all give our best, including the government, to make sure that these animals aren’t taken to circus.”

Rakhi’s endorsement of PETA is in line with the organisation’s policy of celebrity endorsements, but for the publicity hound Rakhi, the PETA endorsement even gives her access to a label she has previously never sought — that of a concerned citizen.

Maybe the item girl’s love for animals is genuine, but with Rakhi one cannot be sure – from wanting to distribute computer to jail inmates to PETA, she sure is a woman of many parts!

    Dear Rakhi,
    Please let the animals be happy & they do not needs you when you do not know that in our country Lions with other four wild species are banned for training & performance. first you prepare your self as an animal rights activist - you are too late now to act for lions in captivity.
    Any how you are welcome but you never find any local problems for animals to highlight. Please adopt some stray animals for their treatment , care & shelter & start regular fights for results not for publicity stunt like chuma.
    People for Animals Haryana welcome you again. Today POLKHOL host compare you with some widow lady of a ex. M.P, if you can regularly fight for animals then there may be chance to establish yourself as an activist.

    ADOPTION OF STRAY DOGS , CHARIETY SHOWS FOR FUND RAISING , STARTING ANIMAL SHELTER- AMBULANCE SERVICE- KINDNESS CLUBS, THESE ARE THE NEEDS.
    PFA HARYANA proposed to adopt 1000 stray dogs from Delhi, you can share this as we have animal shelter & ambulance services - we have removed smt. Maneka Gandhi name from chiefpatronship of PFA HARYANA - then we proposed to Smt. Raveena Tandon for this post - principaly she agreed but officially we are waiting her consent.
