Hot belle Rakhi Sawant is making serious forays on the acting front. Her performance in the comedy ‘Buddha Mar Gaya’ did not garner much praise for Rakhi, but the outspoken sex kitten is now set to defy her own image by doing a fully-clad role in a film titled Baltidevi: Queen of Southhall .

The movie will be a musical to be directed by actor Shammi Kapoor’s son Aditya Raj, or Mickey, as he is fondly called.

The movie’s story is about the rags-to-riches journey of a poor girl in Southhall. Mickey says the Shilpa Shetty episode of winning the Big Brother contest inspired him to write this story.

Later, when Mickey saw Rakhi Sawant on ‘Koffee With Karan’, he decided to cast her in the lead role in the film.

The most unusual part about Rakhi’s role in the flick is that it won’t have any exposure from the busty belle. Rakhi says this film marks her foray into serious acting.

The movie will be produced by Balakumar and Rajeev Agrawal. Its shooting will begin in London in December this year.
