Sawant not invited for Nach Baliye success party

Looks like Star is in no mood to forgive and forget Rakhi Sawant. The channel threw a celebration party for the success of Nach Baliye 3 last night. However, the invitations went to all the couples except Rakhi-Abhishek.

Unaware

Reacting to not being invited Rakhi says, “I didn’t even know there was such a party. I am getting to know this from you! We haven’t got any phone calls or invitations from Star.”

When asked if she would have gone had Star invited her she says, “Of course not! We have done the hard work, and some one else is celebrating on our name. Why would I go and give them more publicity.”

Sawant adds that even though the hungama over the issue is fading, she’s in no mood to reconcile with Star. “I am exhausted and tired. I just want to rest for some time now. I’ve done whatever was possible in my hands to tell the public about the injustice.”

Celebration mode

Keertan Adyanthaya, executive vice president and general manager, Star Plus: “We are celebrating the huge success of Indian television’s biggest dance reality show Nach Baliye in its third season. We have kept the audiences glued to their TV screens for over four months now and presented them with great winners like Aamir-Sanjeeda.”

He further added, “We have invited all the couples from our show as we could have not have achieved this pinnacle without them. Due to false allegations made against the channel, Rakhi and Abhishek are not part of the invitee list.”
