Drona, directed by Karunakumar, Rajamouli’s protégé, and produced by D.S. Rao with Nitin and Priyamani in the lead, is in brisk progress with the climax scenes being shot now. Recently, an item number was choreographed on Rakhi Sawant. This is the first time that the Bollywood bombshell is dancing for a Telugu movie.

Producer said, “It is an out and out mass subject. We are shooting the climax at Gokarnam, besides some action scenes. But for the canning of songs, the shooting of the film would be complete with this schedule. We are planning to complete the songs in the next schedule. How a youth achieves his target not only with muscle power but also with intelligence is the subject of the movie. After a long time, Bob Antony is playing a key role in this film. Kelly Dorje is playing the main villain. Nitin’s performance will be the highlight of the movie.”

Mukhesh Rushi, Sita, Sunil, Raghubabu and Sivaprasad are in the supporting cast. Camera is by Bhupati and music is by Anoop Rubens.
