Rakhi Ka Swayamwar rocks foreign coasts
Mumbai: After celebrating ‘Swayamwar’ and soon to be a daughter-in-law of Canada based family, Rakhi Sawant has taken the Indian rituals to the shore of the country where she is soon going to settle as Mrs. Parujanwala.
Rakhi has chosen Elesh Parujanwala, a Canadian industrialist of Indian origin to be her life partner in the show “‘Rakhi Ka Swayamwar’.
Former official of Canadian human rights Dr. Bahusaheb Ubale has conveyed that the programme ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamwar’ has created much of an awareness of Indian culture in this part of the world and has presented a new face of Indian woman.
He further added that opting for television to be the medium of her obsession of best groom was a different concept to go ahead with and Rakhi is the first girl to do so. More of such programs should be telecast in order to promote the Indian culture.
