Rahul Mahajan, son of slain Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pramod Mahajan, has surpassed the popularity of item girl Rakhi Sawant as he has received 40 per cent more entries than her for his televised swayamvar.

Mahajan, who has decided to find his life partner through the reality show Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega, has received 16,755 entries via phone, email and SMS, said a press release from the channel.
