I will get married only through a swayamvar: Rakhi Sawant
Mumbai: Controversy’s favourite child Rakhi Sawant is at it again. Last year she had decided to get married on television and created a nationwide frenzy when she chose NRI Elesh Parujanwala.
However, her happiness didn’t seem to last for long as the couple parted ways a few months after the swayamvar.
But in the process, she earned enough moolah to move on to greener pastures. Now, if the buzz is to be believed, Rakhi is toying with the idea of another swayamvar.
She says, “If I ever get married, it will be through a swayamvar only.”
So, is a second season of swayamvarcoming up? “I have no comments on this. All that I would like to say is that right now I am very happy,” she replies sternly.
Meanwhile, like a lot of B-town folks, Rakhi is investing wisely in multiple business ventures besides opening a production house.
“I am launching my beauty spa and I have also bought space for an office. I have decided to venture into business as I need financial stability in my life. Now, I will be able to take my own decisions,” she says.
About the kind of shows she intends to make, she says, “Since it’s my own production house, I will make shows with which I can identify myself. I will make reality shows as well as fiction shows and the kind which everyone can watch together. I am very excited about one of the shows which will be based on Lord Jesus. I would have spoken about my shows but the problem is that I am bound by agreements which keep my mouth shut.”
