Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Saturday called Bollywood ‘item girl’ Rakhi Sawant a rude girl, while speaking to media persons in Jalandhar dist of Punjab. However, he blushed with embarrassment, when questions were asked in the backdrop of Rakhi’s recent wedding proposal.
Baba, however, regained his calm only to give a witty answer — ‘wo chori to badmash hai (she is a rude girl)’. “She wants me to utter words about her while reacting on her stupid proposals. She has used my name as a publicity stunt. So please don’t expect any answer from me on this,” he told the media.
Ramdev was speaking to the media at Sai Das School ground on the first day of his two-day ‘yoga shivir’ here.
He made little digs at the Congree party as well saying, “When Congress could not break my sanyasi-dharma then who is Miss Rakhi Sawant.”
Speaking on the 1984 Sikh riots, Baba snubbed Congress asking “When a Sikh Prime Minister (Manmohan Singh) could not bring justice to the riot victims, then whom should you expect it to do?”
Baba also blasted Congress for unnecessarily and repeatedly targeting him. “Why does the Congress party only get irked over my remarks in general? This clearly shows that it’s a corrupt party of traitors and targets any individual’s honest and patriotic move.”
He spared none of his criticisers, including the Shiv Sena and Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh.
“No one is as good in spreading communalism as the Sena and Bala saheb,” he said.
