The grand finale of the reality TV show where Rahul Dimpy Le Gaya had the entire nation glued to the their television sets, resulting in the season’s highest rating in the history of reality shows.

As per the reports, Rahul’s swayamwar on the imagine TV recorded a TVR of 5.6 initially on the day of finale, that is his wedding day, the TRP recoedely went up to 7.8.

Rakhi Sawant’s rejected suitor bags TV show

Rishikesh-based Manmohan Tiwari, who was one of the suitors on Rakhi Sawant’s “Swayamvar” show, has bagged a role in the soon-to-be-launched show “Jamunia”.

Tiwari, who was among the strongest contenders on “Rakhi Ka Swayamvar” last year and considered it as a stepping stone for his acting career, will be seen as Awadh Thakur in NDTV Imagine’s new TV show.

“Jamunia”, produced by Beyond Dreams Entertainment Limited, will narrate the story of an orphan girl called Jamunia, whose maternal uncle marries her off into a rich palace for money. The girl is unaware that the palace is cursed and that no woman has ever survived there. What happens to her forms the rest of the plot. Censor objects to word ‘Kamine’ in Rakhi Sawant’s album

NEW DELHI: Can a word be considered acceptable as the title of a film but objectionable when used in a song number?

It would appear so, if one goes by the legal notice sent by Rakhi Sawant and ishQ Bector to the Central Board of Film Certification which had directed Pen India to mute the word ‘kamine’ from the song ‘Bhoot’ from the album ‘Jhagde’, produced by the duo under the firm ishQ and Faith Inc.

The legal notice sent through advocate firm Siddique and Associates has given the CBFC a time of seven days to respond to the notice, which points out that the Board had earlier ‘unconditionally allowed’ a film bearing the same name, ‘Kaminey’. Rakhi Sawant threatens to go on hunger strike

“I’ll wait for a week and then I go on a ‘bhookh hartaal’ in front of the censor office,” Rakhi shared.

The always-in-the-news actress said: “Fearlessly I’ve sent a legal notice to the censor board. This is the first time something like this has happened. Others do chamchagiri of the censor board. Not me. I’m Rakhi Sawant. Main ishwar ki beti hoon (I’m god’s daughter).

“The censor board has done me injustice by deleting the word ‘kameeni’ from my song. I won’t take it lying down. Dharmendra has been saying the word ‘kameeney’ for years. Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Kaminey’ came, were the censors asleep?

“There’re heroines doing love-making scenes with their bare backs showing. Bharadwaj’s films invariably have characters mouthing ‘maa-bahen galis’. If Rakhi Sawant sings ‘Kameeni tera bhoot chad gaya re’, the censor board gets stung.
