Patel, producer of the film Hot Money, which was directed by actor Rakhi Sawant’s brother Rakesh, was staying at the posh hotel since September 29 , police said.

“He had a meeting with an aspiring actress around 6:30 pm. After this he went to his room. He later called this girl who informed us that he was not feeling well. A team of doctors rushed him to the hospital where he died around 7:30 pm. He had a heart attack,? says a spokesperson of the hotel.

Mika and Rakhi - two donkeys named after pop singer Mika Singh and Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant - were crowned the best models at the annual donkey fair in Rajasthan.

Among the various events organised at the 500-year-old donkey fair at Loonyiawas village, nearly 20 km from here, Rakhi bagged the “Mrs Donkey” title while the “Mr Donkey” title went to Mika.

As many as 1,200 animals had arrived at Looniyawas village to participate in one of the biggest donkey fair, probably the only event of its kind in Asia.

The three-day fair, which ended Monday, was also thronged by donkey breeders drawn from various parts of the country for their trading.

“Both Mika and Rakhi impressed the judges on the basis of their personality, costume and voice,” B.S. Rajwat, an organiser of the fair, told IANS.

Some people came only to witness the rare events connected with the fair.

“I came here to witness the fashion parade. It is quite different from other fairs,” said Kishore Singh of Goner village.

“The best part was when the organisers tried to make the donkeys stand in a row but failed even after an hour-long effort.”

In the racing event, the donkey Shah Rukh Khan outwitted all competitors while Mika came second.

In the dance competition, Vasundhara was declared winner for her enthralling performance.

A kavi sanmelen (poetry recital) was also organised where poets narrated their poems dedicated to donkeys.

Mika and Rakhi Sawant are at loggerheads again… this time over a song which Meet Brothers and Mika have composed to reminisce latter’s infamous kissing escapades.

Sawant’s arch enemy Krazy Kat aka Nandini Jumani has been chosen to play Rakhi. The animosity between the two item girls is well known and their war had reached a point where Nandini had filed a police complaint against Rakhi Sawant.

Confirming the news Nandini says, “I am doing the video and we will be shooting the video on October 5. The concept revolves around the Meet Brothers asking Mika why he kissed the girl, and he answers in a humorous vein.”

Reacting to entire controversies she says, “It is an utter shame! I appeal to music companies not to take his album. If anyone does, I will not work with that company.?

But didn’t they patch up after Mika apologized to her on a TV show?

“The show did what the judiciary and the police could not do. He apologised to me on the sets of ‘Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai’. Finally, I feel good that he did say sorry. But I didn’t patch up with him.. Mika can never be my friend,? she fumes.

After Punjabi pop sensation Mika got into trouble for kissing item girl Rakhi Sawant in Mumbai, another pop singer from Punjab is in a mess, this time for allegedly taking pictures with his digital camera in the ladies loo of a local pub.

Noted Punjabi singer Gursewak Mann, brother of Harbhajan Mann, was on an unscheduled visit to a party in Panchkula when trouble began. A girl from Pangi, a remote belt in Himachal Pradesh, alleged that she was shot with the singer’s digital camera while she was in the toilet.

The girl came out running from the loo claiming that Mann and his friend had barged in and clicked her pictures. “I had gone to the bathroom and suddenly I spotted Mann and his friend inside. They were taking my pictures,” she said. After she resisted, Mann walked off, she said.

People present at the party told TOI that a man accompanying the girl got into an altercation with the singer and shoved him. “Guards cordoned the area and took Mann to a safe place,” said an employee of the pub.

The much-hyped Rakhi Sawant show to be held in Madhya Pradesh’s commercial capital Indore Sunday may be a no-show.

With Bajrang Dal activists threatening to disrupt the event and police expressing helplessness at conducting the show peacefully, Rakhi Sawant may not be able to perform at Indore.

This is not the first instance when activists belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Bajrang Dal or Vishwa Hindu Parishad have opposed a show.

Earlier this year, Bollywood actresses Mallika Sherawat and Priyanka Chopra and superstar Shah Rukh Khan were not allowed to stage shows on some pretext or the other.

Bajrang Dal workers allegedly tore posters of the show across the city. “This has caused us a great loss,” Manoj Verma of Malwa Utsav Mandal, the organiser of the show told IANS.

“The administration has refused us permission to conduct the show,” he said.

“We have requested Rakhi not to come to Indore because her performances are provocative and can spoil youngsters,” said Kailash Bagora, Indore convener of Bajrang Dal.

However, if she doesn’t listen, we will welcome her in “our style”, he warned.
