‘Mika Tune Pappi Kyun Li?’

“The concept of this album ‘Mika Tune…’ was mine. i was fed up of answering people as to what happened at the birthday party where i kissed Rakhi (Sawant). That is the reason why i cut this album. Seven lakh copies of the album have already been sold.”

“When i apologised to Rakhi on the show ‘Jeena isi Ka Naam Hai’ (Zee) she said she would agree only if i didn’t release this album. But, i had already spent three months and Rs 20 lakh on the album. So i could not stop its release. The album is cute, not vulgar.”

“i don’t think that the controversy has made me more popular. i’m doing the same number of shows as i did in the last eight years. i already had hit songs to my credit including ‘Something Something’ and ‘Kitne Armaan’. in fact, the controversy has helped Rakhi. She got ‘Bigg Boss’ and other work after that. i was also asked to be a part of ‘Bigg Boss’. i was offered Rs 30 lakh for it. But i was busy. However ‘Bigg Boss’ was a success because of Rakhi.
