Rakhi Sawant — the original item girl and Kashmera Shah, are back again in Nach Baliye after being together in the reality show Bigg Boss .

And even though the two got along like a house on fire initially, it was not surprising for them to have a fall-out. After all, how long could two firebrands remain under the same roof without any fireworks?

And now that the two are again working together in the dance reality show, will the audience get to see more of that? We guess the makers of the show would be keeping their fingers crossed for that to happen, after all, wouldn’t that do wonders for their TRPs?

It is said birds of a feather dance together. This holds true for Mallika Sherawat and Rakhi Sawant who are all set to share the stage for the first time ever.

Rakhi, who has failed to set the screen on fire with her performance in Buddha Mil Gaya recently said in an interview that I can’t expose as much as Mallika Sherawat.

Mallika-Rakhi: ‘Show’ biz Now, the two item gals are going to perform at a stage show in Orissa later this November. Seems neither knows that the other is performing.

We have also heard that Mallika Sherawat is being paid thrice the amount that’s being given to Rakhi Sawant.

Rakhi Sawant has signed a film with Sidhesh Films Pvt. Ltd. to be directed by Aditya Raj Kapoor (Son of Shammi Kapoor) titled BALTIDEVI QUEEN OF SOUTHALL - a musical. The film is produced by Balakumar and Rajeev Agarwal and is set to go on floors in December 2007.

Rakhi is ecstatic about the new film, she said, “The movie is about migrants in London and their lives from rags to riches. It’s a women oriented subject and I am lucky to be working with Aditya Raj Kapoor.”

Rakhi Sawant is all set to sizzle in Aditya Raj Kapoor’s (son of Shammi Kapoor) next venture titled Baltidevi, Queen of South hall. Aditya Raj Kapoor, known for making conventional cinema is highly impressed by Sawant’s personality.

Aditya is confident about Sawant for the lead role, as she easily fits the bill. He adds that, the film revolves around the woman going from rags to riches in South hall and Sawant would do justice to such a kind of role.

Sawant is on the cloud 9, and commented that she is fortunate to work with Shammi Kapoor’s son and claims that she won’t be exposing in any scene in the film. Mumbai, Sep 5 Item girl Rakhi Sawant, who has signed a new semi-autobiographical Broadway-style Bollywood musical called ‘Balti Devi: Queen Of Southall’, is looking for an image makeover.

‘If I want I can make people weep like Meena Kumari. I live in India and I do feel uncomfortable with my image sometimes. Whatever I’ve done so far is because the public demanded it. It’s the public that’s undressing me,’ Rakhi told IANS in an interview.

‘Heroines send me SMS messages asking why I dress up the way I do. What right do they have to question me? Why can’t a nice clean film like ‘Swami’ click? Hot belle Rakhi Sawant is making serious forays on the acting front. Her performance in the comedy ‘Buddha Mar Gaya’ did not garner much praise for Rakhi, but the outspoken sex kitten is now set to defy her own image by doing a fully-clad role in a film titled Baltidevi: Queen of Southhall .

The movie will be a musical to be directed by actor Shammi Kapoor’s son Aditya Raj, or Mickey, as he is fondly called.

The movie’s story is about the rags-to-riches journey of a poor girl in Southhall. Mickey says the Shilpa Shetty episode of winning the Big Brother contest inspired him to write this story.
