After several item numbers and a few nonsensical performances, it looks like Rakhi Sawant has got something worthy to smile about. Rumours indicate that she will be seen in a supporting role in Yash Raj Films’ next starring Shahid Kapur and Rani Mukerji in lead roles.

A source says, “It’s going to be a life time role for Rakhi. It’s not a cameo. She will be seen as a dancer from the Bhand Samaj doing nautanki . Rakhi’s role is quite bold just like the way she is in her real life. She will have some really bold dialogues and rocking dance numbers in the film.”

However, Rakhi herself neither denies or accepts the rumour, saying, “Who told you about this? I don’t want to comment on this.”

A day when love is in the air drama queen Rakhi Sawant humiliated her boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi by slapping him in front of full media glare. Just three days before Rakhi had thrown Abhishek out of the house over an argument. Rakhi alleged that Abhishek had called her dirty names and and she decided to call off the relationship.

Rakhi Sawant has done it again. Fresh out of controversy, when she lost to Aamir Ali and Sanjeeda Sheikh in the third season of the celebrity dance reality show, Nach Baliye, Rakhi made a dramatic announcement that she had split with her boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi because he was two timing her.

The equally media hungry Abhishek decided that she was too good a prize to lose. He landed at the item girl’s residence in Oshiwara on Valentine’s Day with roses, a huge teddy bear and, of course, the media in tow. In a scene that was telecast live on news channels across the country, Rakhi slapped Abhishek repeatedly in full view of the cameras, claiming that she didn’t love him anymore.

When Abhishek refused to give up and started to plead his case, Rakhi called security to throw him out. Eventually, however, the duo kissed and made up—but not before the queen of controversies claimed that the moment men knew she had broken up with Abhishek, she got close to 1,000 phone calls asking her out for Valentine’s Day. Apparently, Abhishek had gone to reconcile with his ladylove Rakhi after the couple’s reported split. If you are a huge Rakhi Sawant fan, then this was just the place for you. As the item girl grabbed the judge’s seat to search for her new majnu (romeo) for a music video in the Dance Ka Chance Contest, she sure had her fill of aspirants ready to dance their way into her heart.

“Bahut acha laga unke dance ko dekhkar, aur I wish jo jitna achcha dance kare wohi mera majnu ho.” (”I was pleased to see their dance, and I wish the best dancer becomes my majnu,”) says she.

When quizzed the item girl about her real life majnu Abhishek, she had nothing much to say.

“I don’t want to talk about Abhishek Awasthi,” says she.

As for the winner majnu, Ajay Singh, he was simply lost for words.

It’s all over the town now. Rakhi Sawant has part ways with her beau Abhishek, who was her Jodi in Nach Baliye 3. The reason? Rakhi has recently discovered that Abhishek is two-timing her. It seems, she had given him a warning a few weeks back to stay away from the ‘other’ women. But to her consternation, she found Abhishek cosying up with the ‘other’ women again a few days back. They had big fight and that was the end of the relationship.

Both Rakhi and Abhishek were unavailable for comment, but sources close to Rakhi said, “Its all over now between them. It’s official.”

Post Nach Baliye 3, Rakhi’s career was witnessing a dip. Both she and her beau were pitching in different formats to make a mark in the TV industry.
