Ex-Miss India Tanushree Dutta who showed ‘Pyaar ka signal’ in BHAGAM BHAG couldn’t exhibit green signal with HORN OK PLEASE.

The story goes like this; Tanushree was signed by the makers of HORN OK PLEASE for an item number with Nana Patekar, who plays the lead in the movie. It seems the pretty actress started throwing tantrums from the very first day.

Right from the rehearsal on the first day she had some or the other issues, as per the reports in the media. Even the makers of the movie reportedly revealed that she was well informed in advance about the item song. But once they started rehearsing she objected on a few dance steps.

Rakhi Sawant seems to be getting lucky with her growing item numbers in films. After featuring for an item number in Krazzy 4, Rakhi has been roped in for yet another item dance in Horn Ok Pleassss. Rakhi has replaced Tanushree Dutta.

It may be recalled that we had reported yesterday about a fracas between Tanushree and Nana Patekar on the sets of the film at the Filmistan Studios. Apparently, Nana passed some derogatory comment on Tanushree’s dress sense and that did not go down well with the actress.

However, on Wednesday night, producer Sami Siddiqui and director Rakesh Sarang approached Rakhi to fill in for Tanushree. Our source revealed, “Siddiqui and Sarang met Rakhi on Wednesday night and explained their dilemma to Rakhi, who immediately agreed to do the item number. The actress will now be replaced by the original item queen, Rakhi Sawant [Images]. The song will be shot this afternoon.

Rakhi says, “I thank God that I got an offer from such a prestigious house. Thanks to him I lost weight and got a completely new look for my song and he is a total perfectionist!! From my dress to my hair to my eye shadow to everything he scrutinised everything. My song ‘Dekhta Hai Tu Kya’ shows me in a very hatke avatar, much more Indian and softer.”

Now that he’s done shooting for his period horror film 1920, Vikram Bhatt feels that it lacks something: an item number.

Bringing colour

Instead of having ghostly creatures doing a jig, the director has roped in Rakhi Sawant. “It is a dark thriller and I am the only colourful thing in it,” says Rakhi who began shooting for the track at a bungalow in Borivili yesterday.

As the film is set in the 1920s, the item song, too, has a distinct feel of that era. Called Bichua, the track has been rendered by Shubha Mudgal to Adnan Sami’s music and has been choreographed by Raju Khan. Continue reading ‘Rakhi shakes, 20s style!’
